Reports from the Japanese end of the internet are claiming that Famitsu magazine has the scoop on that Nintendo 3DS analog add-on we heard about last month. A page from the magazine (above) shows a rather meaty cradle hugging the sides of the stereoscopic clamshell, reportedly adding an R2 button in addition to a starboard circle pad. The plump peripheral may have been designed specifically for Monster Hunter Tri G, an unannounced (and unconfirmed) game that was leaked in the same issue. Famitsu made no mention of the reported hardware refresh that accompanied the last analog add-on rumor — and price, release date, and official confirmation from Nintendo area still AWOL, of course.

EripmaV Strong words but it’s true that it’s a failed system, should Sony give up on the PSP?
“Relatively speaking, we didn’t do too badly on F1 PSP. But regarding the future, I think they’ve got – well… no. PSP Go’s a lovely device, really smart, but our senior VP bought one the day it came out and has a great story, because he ended up on some customer support line just trying to do basic stuff. He had to re-download his software, do an immediate firmware update, and that’s your user experience. Sony just hasn’t got it right. Stuff like that will make people leave it alone.”
Final Fantasy XIII 360 vs PS3, which should you buy?
March 9th, 2010
EripmaV Since the game was revealed going multi-platform, fanboys on both sides of the fence have claimed that their version WILL be the superior. Up until release date, there were various rumours floating around on the internet along with some rather sketchy videos showing that the PS3 version was superior due to its single disc, uncompressed video but the question is, does the average gamer really care that much whether the cutscenes run at 1080P or 720p? As long as the game plays the way it should and it looks onpar with the rival console’s version, who cares?
