It says it will be compatible with old games. Does that mean that those games will look 3D? Or simply that it will play those games, but they will still look the way they used to?
I dunno, I find 3D graphics to be a bit tacky at times. Until I see it in action, I won't be very optimistic about it..
There are no games on the market that cater only for any of the above. So why waste cash upgrading every few months!! Pointless.
I'm assuming that game EripmaV posted is DSi only. I'm guessing Nintendo is going to start down a DSi-only route soon anyway. Not with major games, but you can pretty much guarantee there will be some good'uns.
But like I've said before, the PSP has some pretty interesting looking games. But I'm not going to buy one just for one or two games..
EripmaV said:That's an actual game running on DSi hardware. It uses the dual cameras to work pretty much as accelerometers.
It does and that's what I said. Minx just likes jumping on new technology until she takes the step herself;P
Say what you want about the various incarnations of the DS, but it's only a natural progression for a company to change its hardware. It happens with phones, televisions etc etc. Difference is, can you watch 1080P on your TV that you bought X years ago? I can play my DS games that I have on my DSi and the same will be with the 3DS.
I'm still waiting to hear if Nintendo are using the nVidia Tegra chipset, if it is then woooo. But then Minx will only say it's bobbins:P
