Even as a stand alone film, ignoring the anime, it was crap. They expected you to have seen the anime already, and so didn't explain a lot of things.

A bit like DragonBall Movie then

Dragon Ball Evolution went the opposite route. Instead of relying on you having watched the anime like Airbender, they relied on you having NOT watched the anime and changed the entire story.

I've still not succumb to the DB movie, I have it on the V+ but I'm scared about watching it..

Watch it, but mentally block out the actual series while you do so.

Take the approach I took with Airbender – You know it's crap, but you can only see for yourself how crap it is.

Transformers: revenge of the whatsits.

Poor. Indecipherable plot; poor audio – I couldn't make out what the actors were saying often – CGI flashy but indifferent quality, IMHO.

Thats what you get when you watch pirate dvds glam.

I watched "Transformers: revenge of the falllen" in both cinema and on xbox sky on demand. Didnt have any of the issues you had. Good film.

I watched the original, enjoyed it.  Watched some of the sequel on the plane last year and it lost its charm imo and I could see why so many racial groups were upset with the flick.

Terminator: Salvation

Trite, humourless, plot holes the size of Nebraska though some of the CGI was quite good.

I thought it was ok but then it might've just been because I like the Terminator universe.

I loved the Sarah Connor TV series. I loved T1 and T2. T3 was awkard and unconvincing. With this latest I found the addition of Arnie to be clever but beyond that… meh.
