I watched Twilight today. A chick flick I suppose and a touch long but it had its moments.

You've clearly been moving in the wrong circles.

Just finished watching the new Star Trek movie. I enjoyed it and this is coming from a non-Trekkie. I liked the 60s stylng of clothes and hair on the women, the cheese lines of Kirk and Eric Banana was a good baddie!

Pfft, I told you it was good ages ago. :P
And yes. Twilight is pants.
I think Avatar is next on my list to see, but only because my friend is obsessed. It doesn't look too appealing to me.

I enjoyed Star Trek more on the second viewing than the first. I still don't see why they had to change the timeline away from the main series.

So they can continue to make a series of films and not have to research the whole series (or ship in some nerds for consultation) to stick to continuity things. Now they can do whatever the hell they please and still make money off it. ;d

I also watched 9 this weekend and loved it far too much! Not much in the way of dialogue really but then it didn't really need it!

I really (and I really mean REALLY) wanted to watch that, but the week we went to see it it had already been pulled from the cinema. ;(
Apparently it didn't do so well.

I think truth be told, the story undertones (facism, nazism etc etc) went way over most peoples' heads!
There's a hell of alot of subtle nods to classic movies in it, I loved it Apparently a sequel in the works too.

I note Twilight 2, New Moon, is out this week. One of the stars was on The One Show.
