It’s the bane of over 60% of the population.  What is it you ask?  Simple, it’s sleep deprivation and insomnia.  Counting sheep, drinking milky drinks, reading; anyone who’s had problems will have no doubt tried all of these in order to gain an extra few Zs.  In a techno world, it’s often the last things we do before bed that can affect our sleep.  Using a computer, mobile phone or even watching the TV over stimulates the brain and thereby keeps you awake for longer.  As someone who has to constantly change her sleep pattern due to varying shifts at a hospital, my wife’s body clock is constantly knocked out of rhythm.
