Roberts STREAM 105 WiFi Internet Radio Review

Roberts Wi-Fi Internet Radio with Music Player –

STREAM 105

There is nothing more relaxing, more entertaining, than listening to some  great music on the radio. With the likes of John Peel and a whole host of iconic DJs long gone who played the kind of music I love and Bob Harris on at an ungodly time of the night on Radio 2 FM  and add insult to injury it isn’t easy to get a good clean reception the best alternative is DAB Radio …. WRONG. Living in a part of Kent or to be more precise in an area that offers variable reception -  good downstairs but nothing upstairs, frustration is never far away. The digital revolution may be with us soon but there is still huge pocket, with a dense population that cannot get a constant digital signal  stream but that is another subject for another day. Which brings it all down to digital radio………with internet radio offering the best option for connoisseurs  of world radio.

Green Lantern Mimobots Review

Flash drives used to be purely a practical solution for backing up, all basically looking the same with the odd logo splashed across its body.  As the years have gone on, said drives have evolved into what some could say into fashionable must haves.  On the more quirky and dare I say it, geeky side of designs are Mimobots.  Over the years they’ve produced some amazing drives based on cult figures from Star Wars to Emily the Strange.

Cygnett Lavish iPad case

The Cygnett Lavish iPad case is an odd beast.  To look at, it’s somewhat stylish and if you’re wanting to protect your swishy little gadget, you want more than just a skin.

To start the case features protection for the front and rear of the iPad, with a magnetic clasp to keep it shut when Apple‘s baby is not in use.  The cover on the front is reinforced to help protect the screen from knocks, bumps and scratches and the interior’s micro-suede lined, to ensure the casing will never get a mark on it from day to day use and transportation.

i-Station Lite 2

Logic3 WISI93K i-Station Lite

Logic3 is launching six new stylish, practical and affordable docking stations for iPad, iPhone and iPod to its already successful i-Station range of audio accessories. I have been using one of the i-Station Lite for the last few days.

The i-Station lite is the cheapest of the six new docking stations being launched. Built for the iPhone, most iPods and compatibility with almost all music players with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, this little dock features stereo speakers, FM Radio and App support too.

Magicbox Tower iPod/iPhone Dock Review

A plethora of iPod docks are available now days, most of them stick to the usual black finish and more often than not, they also look very similar. The Magicbox Tower is something of a beauty, with its metalic finish (in this case, a cool blue) and funky design.

Integrated within the stunningly designed and well built dock, is a DAB/FM radio, speakers, an alarm clock and obviously, a slot to place your iPod/iPhone snugly. For around £70, this is seriously feature packed, so how does it sound?

Altec Lansing’s InMotion Air frees your music of its wireless constraints

Imagine the scene, BBQ on the go, a few friends round and beer a plenty.  What could make the perfect afternoon even more…perfect?  Music!  So you drag out the stereo and along with it, an extension cable that everyone trips over or the kids are stomping over, leaving you rather paranoid that your beloved sound system will come crashing to the ground.  Well, worry no more.  Altec Lansing can help with their InMotion Air to help the BBQ go as smoothly as possible and leaving you having to worry about not burning your sausage…cough.

Logic3 TimeCube

We’d originally planned on doing a festive gift guide, as we have done over the last few years.  Sadly, the weather had other ideas.  The only delivery that actually arrived before the torrents of snow, here in Lancashire, was the Logic3 TimeCube.  As such, I feel this little gem deserves a review.

Sennheiser PC333D review

There’s one company who never fails to impress me with their quality products and that company is Sennheiser.  From run of the mill ‘bones’ to whack into your MP3 player to high end headphones that offer the highest clarity and pin sharp audio available.

Today, we’re taking a look at their latest PC gaming headset, the PC333D.  Offering features galore, there’s enough to get casual and hardcore gamers excited about delving deeper into their audio world.  So many gaming headsets that offer 5.1/7.1 sound fall short somewhat of the mark, can Sennheiser’s latest headset change this?

LA Robe iPad review

You know how it is, you’ve just bought the ‘must have’ gadget of the moment but you’re so paranoid about scratching the thing when you’re moving from A to B that you need something to house it in.

Take the iPhone 4 for example, my brother in-law rushed out to grab one on release day but couldn’t get a case for it straight away as there wasn’t any solution out at the time to encase his beloved precious, so what did he do?  He carried it around in a sock!

Star Wars 3D

Star Wars fans have been bemoaning George Lucas‘s inability to leave the Star Wars films alone for decades, but here’s one overhaul that is bound to have them dancing like Ewok‘s celebrating a Stormtrooper massacre on Endor.

Yes, the beardy director has set his mind on taking the adventures from that far, far away galaxy into 3D after he was inspired  by James Cameron‘s Golden Globe winning Avatar.
